I had the privilege of co-authoring a chapter with my dear friend and colleague, Joslyn Smith, in the book Trauma-Informed Treatment of Eating Disorders, now in its second edition. Together, we wrote Chapter 25, Recovery and Beyond: Dealing with Triggers and Setbacks.

The writing process was truly rewarding, and I’m exploring new opportunities to contribute to the field through writing. It was an honor to collaborate with Joslyn and to be part of this esteemed collection of professionals who are highly regarded in the field of eating disorders.

I believe this book is an invaluable resource for providers treating eating disorders, offering practical insights and trauma-informed approaches to care. If you’re interested, you can find the book here: Trauma-Informed Treatment of EatingDisorders.

Writing this chapter was a meaningful experience, and I’m excited about the possibilities ahead for contributing further to this important work.
